Betty Almonacy, CEO

In loving memory of...

Anthony Almonacy, CFO

Betty is a passionate evangelist who travels nationally and internationally preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and participating in various revivals and conferences. Betty’s love for helping others, and her desire to show the undying love of God, was the catalyst that propelled her to create Betty A. Ministries Inc. Before the unrest, Betty traveled to Haiti twice a year to hold special events for the orphans and needy in the Croix-des-Bouquets region; one week of a summer camp and an annual Christmas party. When she is not traveling, Betty is serving in her local community as a mentor to youths and women.

In loving memory of...

In loving memory of our sister and co-founder, Gladys Bruno, who passed away in September 2013. Betty A. Ministries was co-founded by Betty Almonacy and Gladys Bruno. Gladys, a thirty-five years (plus) nursing veteran, spent her life caring for others. She worked in various hospital departments throughout her career, but she preferred the neonatal and labor and delivery units. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Gladys encouraged her sister, Betty, to add a benevolence branch within her ministry so they could financially sponsor children in Haiti. What started with 10 children, now caters to the needs of approximately 900 children. To honor her memory, we continue to serve with the same joy, enthusiasm, and love that Gladys poured into the ministry.
